CELEBRATING36 YEARS: 1984 - 2020

The Aero Club of Metropolitan Atlanta was founded in 1984 by Lockheed Aircraft Company executives and local business people to serve the aviation community.

2018 marks the 34th year of the The Aero Club of Metro Atlanta! This dynamic organization is a Chapter of the National Aeronautics Association based in Washington D.C. and is dedicated to promoting the positive impact of aviation in the greater Atlanta Area. We are a business-oriented social club for people that share a passion for aircraft and flight in their work and play. Our meetings are held Bi-Monthly at the Capital City Club on Harris Street in downtown Atlanta.

We are the Atlanta aviation networking headquarters because we have members from all facets of the aviation industry. Our meeting attendance is generally around one-hundred members and guests making the bi-monthly meetings a great place to make new and rekindle old relationships in aviation.

Members range from Presidents of Airlines and FBO's to private pilot weekend flyers and all points between. We also have a growing number of members that are not pilots but share the interest in the world of aviation.

Drawn together by the common thread of aviation, our group meets five to six times a year with luncheon programs and many well known aviation guest speakers. Other events include field trips to nearby GA aviation facilities during the year which are a special treat for our members as well--whether it flying the Level C Simulators at Flight Safety International's Hartsfield Airport facility or getting an insider tour of Lockheed Martin's F-22 production line, we have great support from the Atlanta aviation community.

If you have an interest in meeting the Atlanta aviation community, meeting and hearing from top aviation "movers and shakers" in the Country we would like you to join us for our next event. Just fill out the information page with your contact information and you'll get an invitation to our next event at the member lunch rate.
